Mr. Salem Awadallah isthe Service Delivery Director and Chief Technical Officer at ASAL Technolo
gies. He has worked on building software engineering teams to service inter
national clients and increase the quality of Software Services offered in P
alestine. Prior to ASAL, Mr. Awadallah returned to Palestine after a longcareer in the Healthcare Information Technology and Software industry in
the US. He held various key positions is Software Development, Project Ma
nagement and Product Management in global companies such as Motorola, Ecli
psys and MediServe. He has a BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Arizona Sta
te University, and an MBA in telecommunication management, from Keller,
USA.

Abstract:
He will be addressing challenges the Palestinian compa
ny (industry) facing. He will discuss how we can learn and develop new trac
ks and graduate to help grow the tech sector.
How the university can Work
with other companies to provide optimal plan to target specific jobs. Throu
gh partnerships, university and industry can provide relevant training/cou
rses and services that may be of interest to university, student, and com
pany.
