Major Business Administration

Admission Requirements

1. Student must successfully complete and obtain a cumulative average of 70% in the following courses:

BUSA130 , ECON131 , ACCT130 , FINN130 , MATH235 or MATH141

2. A grade of not less than 70% in BUSA130 .

3. Department approval based on intake capacity - priority is given to students with higher scores in the courses above and where these are even, other academic criteria can be sought by the department committee.

Condition for Continuing in Major

Student in Major must maintain a cumulative Major average of not less than 70%.

Program Requirements

Student must successfully complete a minimum of 57 credit hours of courses distributed as follows:

1. Core courses ( 24 credit hours):

BUSA230 , BUSA232 , BUSA237 , BUSA330 , BUSA3301 , BUSA3371 , BUSA436 , BUSA438

2. Elective courses (9 credit hours) from other courses from in Business Administration.

3. (9 credit hours) of courses in Accounting including ACCT230

4. (9 credit hours) of courses in Economics including ECON132

5. 6 credit hours) of courses in Finance including FINN230
