Bachelor Program in Arabic Language and Literature
The Department of Arabic Language and Literature offers an academic program leading to Bachelor degree in Arabic Language and Literature as single Major as well as Minor specialization that can be combined with Major from another department.
Major Arabic Language and LiteratureAdmission Requirements:
1. A grade of not less than 70% in ARAB231 and ARAB232 2. Department approval based on program intake capacity -priority is given to student with higher scores in the courses above and where these are even, other academic criteria may be sought by the Department Committee. Condition for Continuing in Major Student in Major must maintain a cumulative Major average of not less than 70%. Program Requirements: Student must successfully complete a minimum of 60 credit hours of courses in Arabic Language and Literature distributed as follows: 1. Core courses ( 48 credit hours):

2. Elective courses (12 credit hours) distributed as follows: a. ARAB331 or ARAB332 b. 3 courses from the following:
