Master program in Scientific Computing
The Master Program in Scientific Computing offers an interdisciplinary course of study bridging the various disciplines in the sciences, engineering and computer science. Its students come from different specializations such as computer science, physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering. The Program aims at enhancing Palestinian capacity in scientific computing methods and techniques in science and engineering areas such as in modeling, numerical solutions, finite elements, and simulations in solving scientific and engineering problems. These solutions have many applications in science, industry and the public sector.
Graduates are expected to work in the fields of scientific research, industrial development, technical development, computing and computer science.
Admission Requirements
1. a bachelor’s degree in one of the science fields or in engineering.
2. skills in computers and programming languages.
3. personal interview by the Program Committee which examines the candidate’s personal ambitions and academic background.
