Master Program - Education
The M.A. program in Education aims to prepare qualified educators to work in the different fields of the education system, namely as teachers, supervisors, administrators, and researchers. The program, moreover, prepares educators to assume other related responsibilities in different capacities in governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions.
The M.A. program is made up of 36 credit hours, 12 credit hours of which are to enhance and refine participants’ knowledge and professional skills in one of four areas of concentration: Second/Foreign Language Education, Mathematics Education, Science Education, and Educational Administration. Six other credit hours address the research aspects in the respective fields of inquiry
Admission Requirements
1. Applicants should hold a B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited university with an average of C and above (good and above).
2. Applicants should have at least one year of work experience in their respective fields.
3. Priority is given to holders of a teaching diploma.
Remedial Courses
Students may be required to take up to three remedial courses that are specified at the point of acceptance.
