Academic System

The university follows the credit system in which a student must successfully complete a minimum number of credit hours in core and elective courses to fulfill the degree requirements in a specialization of his/her choice.

The academic year consists of two semesters, each with a duration of 16 weeks. If conditions permit, the University offers an eight-week summer session during the summer holidays.

Fridays and Sundays are official holidays and other holidays are announced in the academic calendar at the beginning of each academic year.
