Mission
The Birzeit Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Professions is committed to preparing high caliber entry-level nurses and allied health professionals using a dynamic curriculum that is built upon a foundation of multi-disciplinary research and scholarly practice. Graduates will be prepared to assume a variety of clinical and leadership roles that promote health and advance nursing and allied health professions in Palestine. Faculty commitment to fostering an academic climate in which students are engaged as caring, compassionate, and humanizing professionals is pivotal to the Faculty mission.

The Birzeit Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Professions will emerge as a leader in educating nurses and allied health professionals to meet the health care needs of Palestinians. The Faculty strives to promote student success through excellence in teaching, scholarship, practice, and service.
Philosophy
The Faculty of Nursing and Allied Health Professions believes that preparation of outstanding health professionals requires a strong grounding in both the arts and sciences and a commitment to social justice. Faculty members serve as mentors, role models, and facilitators for students to synthesize the roles and responsibilities in their respective fields. Integrated and conceptually-based curricula are built upon the principles of critical thinking, health promotion, and adherence to professional and ethical standards of practice. Students are educated and socialized as change agents and leaders for the purpose of serving the community and promoting positive change in the Palestinian health care system.
