Department of Computer Systems Engineering

The Department of Computer Systems Engineering (CSE) offers a 5-year academic program (160 credit hours) leading to a Bachelor degree in Computer Systems Engineering. It emphasizes a mix of a solid theoretical background in Natural, Mathematical, Computer and Engineering Sciences and a practical orientation towards market needs in computing.  Currently, the department has about 300 students and a faculty of 7 instructors, with plans to augment the faculty with additional members in the near future.

Mission
The Department of Computer Systems and Engineering seeks to provide an environment that encourages innovative thinking, awareness of the rapid changing computer technology and applications, as well as the potential effects on the individual and society. It further aims to promote excellence in higher education by providing quality academic teaching, training, research and relevant community programs within the context of sustainable development.
