On Tuesday 24/11/2009, the Computer Systems Engineering Club organized an Open Day, during which the Department's students and faculty members joined in the educational, recreational and sports activities. The event was sponsored by Fusion Telecommunications Company from Gaza City, who generously covered the prizes and lunch meals.

The activities commenced with a seminar about "Entrepreneurship and ICT Incubation" given by Eng. Hassan Omar, Manager of PICTI, in which he spoke about the concept of entrepreneurship and the services that PICTI provide to guide innovational projects to become profitable businesses.

Then came the sports and fun activities, which included a "Fruit Salad chopping" competition, Network Gaming competition, the Internet-based "Treasure Hunt", as well as Football and Basketball tournaments in which both students and faculty members have participated.
