  Admission Requirements

 

The Department of Architectural Engineering announces at the beginning of each academic year its capacity for the next year, in which a certain number of students are always admitted at the beginning of the first semester. The department reserves about 10% of its capacity to accept applicants at the beginning of the second semester of each year, under the condition that the cumulative average of the student admitted in the second semester should not be lower than the lowest cumulative average of students admitted in the first semester. Procedures of enrollment for specialization are as follows:

1. Student must achieve the following conditions before considering his request for a specialization in the department:
- Success in the following courses: Physics 141, 132, math 141 and 132, with a cumulative average not less than 70%.
- Success with an average of 70% or more in both the Architectural Engineering 211 and Mechanical Engineering 121.

2. Admission average is calculated according to the following indicators:

  • the cumulative rate for the Mathematics courses 141,132 and Physics 141,132 (50%)
  • grade of the mechanical engineering course 121 (20%)
  • grade of the architecture engineering course 211(30%)

3. The applicants are allocated in descending order based on the calculated average as in item (2) above, and admitted students are determined on the basis the announced department capacity.

4. The department introduces the architecture engineering 211 in all academic semesters including the summer session (if necessary).

5. The department holds a meeting with the students who wish to specialize in architectural engineering at the date of admission to the university.

6. The department coordinates with the department of registration to know the students who applied for architecture in order to guide them.

7. These procedures are announced to all new students in the Faculty of Engineering on the billboards, and on the portal page "Ritaj".

 

* Condition for Continuing in Major

Student in the Major must maintain a cumulative Major average of not less than 70%.
