Faculty of Business and Economics

Overview

The Faculty of Business and Economics was established in 1978 and comprises of four departments offering academic programs leading to Bachelor degrees:

The Faculty offers four undergraduate programs including: Economics, Business Administration, Finance and Banking, and Accounting, as well as Master Programs in Business Administration and Economics

The Faculty prepares students to work in the private sector and in governmental and non-governmental organizations both within Palestine and abroad. To assist in this process every year the Faculty carries out a Career Day inviting local companies and organizations to meet with graduating students from the Faculty.

Research interests

Faculty members conduct research on Palestinian economy, financial analysis, labor, economics, management strategies and feasibility studies.

Community Outreach

The Faculty holds an annual Career Day inviting local companies and organizations to meet graduating students from the Faculty. The Faculty provides financial and management consultations, as well as conducting training courses for the Palestinian private sector.
