Faculty of Commerce and Economics: Overview
The Faculty of Commerce and Economics was established in 1978. The Faculty currently has an enrollment of over 1,100 students studying in its three departments:
- Economics,
- Business Administration, and
- Accounting.
The Department of Business Administration offers programs leading to a Bachelor degrees in Business Administration and in Banking and Financial Management.
The Faculty prepares students to work in the private sector and in governmental and non-governmental organizations both within Palestine and abroad. To assist in this process, the Faculty carries out an annual Career Day inviting local companies and organizations to meet with graduating students from the Faculty.

Admission
- A cumulative grade point average of 70% in the first-year requirement courses.
- Departmental approval.
Graduation Requirements
A student must complete 120 credit hours to graduate. Listed below are the number of credits needed to major and minor in each department.
